About the Speaker: Kent Spackman MD, PhD
Dr. Spackman serves as the Scientifc Director of the SNOMED Project at the College of American Pathologists and is Chair of the SNOMED International Editorial Board. He is an internationally recognized expert on biomedical knowledge representation. His informatics research has focused on applied artificial intelligence, including machine learning, natural language understanding, and clinical terminology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics.
